Apple is reportedly planning to launch its fourth-generation iPhone SE with big changes in 2025. According to Taiwanese supply chain publication DigiTimes, the Cupertino-based tech giant has started sourcing OLED displays from BOE and other Chinese manufacturers for its next-generation iPhone SE. This information is consistent with several previous reports that BOE would supply OLED displays for the next iPhone SE.

Recently, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman also revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will launch with a similar design to the iPhone 14, including an edge-to-edge screen with a notch. He assumes that the upcoming SE model will support Face ID. If the new iPhone SE is based on the iPhone 14, it will have a 6.1-inch OLED display, while the current model has a 4.7-inch LCD.

Gurman says the new iPhone SE will support Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence is currently limited to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models. Additionally, the device would likely have 8GB more RAM. Other rumored features of the next iPhone SE 4 include a USB-C port and an action button.

As for optics, the device could feature a 48MP rear camera, bringing it in line with the camera system of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. If true, this would position the SE 4 as a strong competitor in the mid-range market.

iPhone SE 4 Price in India

iPhone SE models are generally budget iPhones from Apple. However, due to the major upgrades expected with the iPhone SE 4, a price increase is to be expected.

Recent leaks suggest a starting price of around Rs 49,900 for the iPhone SE 4, compared to Rs 43,900 for the iPhone SE 3. However, discounts and trade-in offers could help bring down the cost for buyers.
