[Video] “What did he do?!” – Illan Meslier’s roar in stoppage time will go down in football history

Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier doesn't want to be reminded of his howler at the Stadium of Light on Friday evening.

Hosts Sunderland, the league leaders, were trailing 2-1 to Daniel Farke's side in the 97th minute of a game that was scheduled to end after 96 minutes.

There was absolutely no danger as a hopeful ball was pumped into the Leeds penalty area and a tame shot resulted from the knock down heading straight towards the Leeds goalkeeper.

Without any pressure on him, Meslier inexplicably let the ball pass between his hands and legs and into the net, securing Sunderland a valuable draw at the crucial moment.

Even the commentator was shocked.

The result will do nothing to ease the pressure on Farke, who was given a sack warning at the start of the season.
