This morning, that L.A. Times released its data-driven list of California's best retirement destinations, in which Arcata and Eureka somehow tied for the top spots. Whatever! As a Humboldtian it is difficult to leave it like that. So since we're the experts on the pros and cons of these two coveted places to die, who better to break the tie than us?
