Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree start time at UFC 307

Alex Pereira will look to extend his legend status against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307. This light heavyweight championship fight, scheduled for five rounds, will take place on Saturday, October 5th at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

Pereira (11-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC), a former middleweight champion, is attempting his third consecutive title defense at 205 pounds. He captured the title that Jon Jones lost with a TKO of Jiri Prochazka in November 2023 and successfully defended against Jamahal Hill and Prochazka this year.

Rountree (14-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) is a surprising title challenger who is ranked just No. 8 in the official UFC rankings. Rountree is embarking on a five-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Anthony Smith by TKO last December. Rountree was scheduled to fight earlier this year but was suspended due to a failed drug test leading up to the fight. According to UFC, the error was self-reported by Rountree and attributed to a faulty nutritional supplement attributed to the manufacturer.

Here are the strike times for the UFC 307 main event between Pereira and Rountree.
