Shahid was last seen in the sci-fi romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya opposite Kriti Sanon, Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia. The film is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah in their directorial debut and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
