The design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro has been leaked ahead of its launch on October 20th

Are you waiting for the next flagship smartphone of the year? Well, the new Xiaomi 15 Pro is coming to China and thanks to the new leaks from Kartikey and SmartPrix we know that its design will look like this.

The glossy glass back contrasts with the grooved structure of its predecessor, while the camera upgrade subtly changes. Now that the rumor mill has dropped some hints about the impending launch, let's delve deeper into what we already know.

Xiaomi 15 Pro design leaked ahead of launch

Tipster Kartikey revealed the back cover design of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Pro in three color variants – white, silver and black. In terms of design, the Xiaomi 15 Pro looks very similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Xiaomi has done away with the grooves on the back and replaced them with a polished surface with a glass back that refines the look and feel.

Look closely and you will see differences in the camera island. The Xiaomi 14 Pro's triple-cam setup, housed in a square hump, looked quite small and had a lot of space, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro's cameras looked pronounced and took up almost all of the space. The LED flash is pulled out from the camera bump and is located on the left side of the camera bump.

There will also be a Xiaomi 15 Pro Special Titanium Edition, which corresponds to last year's Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition.

Specifications of the Xiaomi 15 Pro (expected)

The Xiaomi 15 Pro is part of the Xiaomi 15 series, which will be launched on October 20th. The series will be the first to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC once the chipset launches this month.

There is also 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. In terms of optics, we have a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 50MP telephoto snapper with 5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide snapper.

Interestingly, there are four camera slots with three cameras, which shouldn't make a difference, but you're obviously paying a fortune, so I don't think Xiaomi should pull such a trick. There is a 32MP snapper on the front that you can use for regular calls, selfies, etc.
