A South Bend man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison after multiple convictions, including murder and robbery.

Back in August, a jury found 19-year-old Quadir Quiroz guilty of murder and firearms enhancement for the 2021 killing of Ashanti Hines.

Then, last month, Quiroz pleaded guilty to robbery charges in connection with the death of Sa'Sha Agnew, as well as two additional charges of robbery and criminal recklessness.

On Friday, October 4, Quoriz was sentenced to 60 years in prison for murder, an additional 10 years for weapon enhancement and 30 years for robbery with serious bodily harm. The sentences will be served consecutively, while other charges, including two counts of criminal recklessness, will run concurrently.

Quiroz will serve his sentence at the Indiana Department of Corrections.
