Match updates, week 6 live score

No. 22 Louisville Football will look to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season today against SMU.

The Cardinals and Mustangs haven't played each other in 40 years and have revived the matchup now that SMU is part of the ACC. U of L faces a Mustangs team that has outscored its last two opponents 108-58 and will look to go 2-0 in the conference for the second straight year.

Despite a loss at Notre Dame, Louisville was also a balanced team. The Cardinals are averaging 41.5 points while allowing just 16 points per game. If Louisville beats SMU, it would be the Cardinals' first win over the Mustangs in three meetings.
