NC State quarterback Grayson McCall was injured in the first quarter against Wake Forest

DEVELOP YOURSELF IN GOLF. I WILL COME ALL THE DETAILS. TURN TO SOME OF OUR TOP STORIES THIS MORNING, A WEEK AFTER HALLOWEEN FLEW OVER OUR STATE, THE SEARCH CONTINUES FOR THOSE STILL MISSING. 106 PEOPLE DIED IN NORTH CAROLINA AS A RESULT OF HALLOWEEN. That's according to an NBC News count. WATER REMAINS ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES. Gov. Roy Cooper says last he heard, 53 water systems were down. FEMA says repairs are going better than expected, but there is still no timeline for completion. The state is working to make bottled water and water tanks available to people, and Governor Cooper is also sharing a request. He's asking people to stop sharing misinformation on social media and instead share how people in Western North Carolina can help. He accompanied FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell on a visit to the city of Canton in HAYWOOD County. CRISWELL SAYS MISINFORMATION, THE CLAIM THAT THE AGENCY DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY, IS JUST WRONG. SHE AND THE GOVERNOR SAY THE SPREAD OF MISINFORMATION IS HARMFUL BECAUSE IT CAN DAMAGE RELIEF EFFORTS. This level of misinformation creates a scenario where they don't even come to us and they don't even register. AND I NEED PEOPLE TO REGISTER SO THEY CAN GET WHAT THEY ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS. It also demoralizes the National Guard soldiers who are out here for days and the people who work in emergency management and work around the clock to help people. WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA, NOTHING GETS DONE. THAT'S SIMPLY NOT TRUE. AS FEMA AND THE STATE DO THEIR WORK, PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY HAVE BEEN RUNNING TO HELP OUR NEIGHBORS IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA IN NEED. These include the Charlotte Flight School and Race City flight operations. THE SCHOOL HAS ASSISTED WITH SEARCH AND RESCUE EFFORTS, AS WELL AS Supplied Drop-Offs. OUR LINDSAY KLEIN TALKS TO THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS. YOU SEE THOSE LARGE TRACTOR TRAILERS JUST TRANSFORMED LIKE LEGOS, RIGHT? Like a little two year old went in there and just threw them everywhere. THE IMAGES PATRICK LOVENHOLM AND HIS INSTRUCTORS TAKE AT RACE CITY FLIGHT OPERATIONS ARE DEVASTATING ON THE FRENCH BROAD AND THE SWANNANOA RIVER. That stuff just gets decimated, right? PATRICK has always had a love for aviation and has been flying since 2005. He and his wife took over Race City's flight operations in 2018. She is a nurse, paramedic and so on. I mean, she loves getting in and helping people, and I love using aviation to help people. So they flew towards Boone, down the mountains, through the valleys and then into Rutherford County, towards ASHEVILLE, the hardest hit area. We're looking for people to wave at us and, you know, try to get help. So we searched and rescued for two days, and there were still lost deliveries after that. So, yeah, I'd probably say I did 15. The flight school is probably over 30 finished at this point. They flew through the countryside looking for help. WE FOUND FOUR NEW, UNRECORDED LOCATIONS WHERE PEOPLE ARE COMING OUT AND WAVING AND, YOU KNOW, SEEING THEM SOS ON THE GROUND OR WHATEVER. He has been participating in emergency operations for several years and will continue to do so as long as he is needed. I LOVE FLYING AND I LOVE TO SHARE MY PASSION OF FLYING. So is there a way to give something back to aviation? THIS REPORTS LINDSAY KLINE. PATRICK AND HIS TEAM OF TEACHERS WERE ALSO ABLE TO STOP A WHOLE TRUCK FULL OF WATER
