DDG Compares Relationships to a Part-Time Job in New Viral Clip

Right now, DDG is not America's favorite person. After he announced the news of his split from Disney star and beloved artist Halle Bailey, people became obsessed with his case. Now a clip from an interview in which he gave relationship advice to his younger self is going viral.

In the clip, DDG explained: “You know I told you this in passing. It's best for you to be single during these years of your life so that you can really express yourself. No one is going anywhere… whoever you like at that moment. Line up your ducks first and grind them, with no restrictions. There are real limitations when you're in a relationship. You always have to take their feelings into consideration, so you can’t really work the way you want to work.”

He concluded his statement by saying, “If I could tell myself something at the age of 22, I would tell myself not to get into a relationship because it's almost like having a part-time job.” Many fans in The comments on the clip that surfaced expressed mixed feelings about his statement. One fan said, “Having a relationship is a job, but having a child isn't?” Other users are commenting on the fact that Bailey is remaining silent during this time as he continues to publicly address the situation.

Speaking about the split, DDG shared: “After much thought and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.” He then explained: “We are still best friends and love each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared.” Since both sides addressed the split, they have been reciprocating posts from their social media -Media pages were removed, and DDG had to deny claims that he had spoken about her in his “Close Friends” on Instagram.

While many people on social media rejoiced at the news of the end of the relationship, Summer Walker took to her social networks to react to it, hoping that the two artists would rekindle their relationship so that they do not give up on love would.
