Fifth Ward woman arrested when she threw frozen burrito at store employee's head

A woman was arrested after she allegedly threw a frozen burrito at a store employee's head in the Fifth Ward earlier this week.

The crime occurred Oct. 1 at a Walgreen's store at 1515 Lockwood Dr.

A store employee reportedly attempted to confront the woman because he suspected she had shoplifted. A confrontation ensued in which the woman threw a frozen burrito at the employee, hitting him in the forehead.

Authorities were called to the scene and the suspect was arrested and charged with assault. She was taken to the Harris County Jail.
