Jackson State Football is in Mobile, Alabama today for the Gulf Coast Challenge.

The Tigers (3-2, 1-0 SWAC) play Alabama A&M (2-2, 0-0) at neutral Ladd-Peebles Stadium (4 p.m. ESPN+). JSU celebrates its first SWAC win of the season after a 43-14 victory over Texas Southern.

JSU coach TC Taylor gave quarterback Jacobian Morgan his first start since the Tigers' season opener against ULM last week against Texas Southern, and he will start at center today.

Alabama A&M was forced to skip Week 5 after its first SWAC game of the season against Florida A&M was postponed due to Hurricane Helene. This game has been postponed to November 29th.
