DDG responds after questionable post leaks

On Friday (October 4), a post from DDG's Instagram Stories Close Friends began circulating online. The post apparently addressed his alleged breakup with Halle Bailey and revealed information about their supposedly intimate time.

The message reads: “I am a grown man and can make my own decisions. We decided to separate for personal reasons. No, it's not a sketch. I'm not hurt and I'm not missing anything, and her head game is [trash can emoticon] AF lol, as long as my son is okay, I’m okay.”

It is unclear when the questionable post was shared. However, while speaking out, DDG was quick to dismiss any speculation that he created it. The “Moonwalking in Calabasas” rapper jumped on X (formerly Twitter) to put an end to rumors that he was bad-mouthing his ex.

“I don’t even use close friends. “Stop being weird.” DDG wrote on X.

Social media is responding to the disrespect

Social media users quickly jumped to The Shade Room's comments section to defend DDG, claiming he would never publicly embarrass Halle Bailey, regardless of her situation.

Instagram user @Charissemills wrote: “Reading is fundamental. He clearly says he didn’t write that.”

Another Instagram user @4infinito wrote: “This man tells you all that he doesn't even have a close friend who could say that and you still try to make that his words? 🤦🏾‍♀️”

Finally, Instagram user @gee2srt wrote: “Yeah whoever made that lame ass 🤦🏾‍♂️ Bro never disrespected Halle like that and I doubt he never will on social media.”

Earlier this week, DDG dropped a major bombshell on social media. The 26-year-old shared a message about his relationship status with Halle on his Instagram Stories. DDG claimed that he and Halle had decided to go their separate ways.

“After much thought and heartfelt discussions, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision wasn't easy, but we believe it is the best path for both of us. “I really appreciated the time we spent together and the love we shared,” the message reads.

Additionally, the post highlighted their commitment to remaining close friends despite the change.

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and love each other. As we focus on our own individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support,” the message continued.
