A man accused of kidnapping and domestic violence was peacefully arrested by Broken Arrow police, according to BAPD News

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Broken Arrow Police officers said they were able to peacefully arrest a man accused of kidnapping and domestic violence.

Officials said Rafael Martin Sangines was accused by a woman of holding her against her will in her apartment and beating her with an AR-15. She reported that Sangines threatened to kill her if she tried to call for help.

According to BAPD, the woman managed to run away and get help. She was found with a broken arm and injuries to both knees.

Sangines had reportedly threatened to shoot anyone who got in his way of finding the woman and said he would get into a shootout with officers if they tried to stop him.

Officer Woods saw Sangines walking to his truck while watching his residence and decided to follow Sangines.

Officers with the Broken Arrow Police Department said they were able to peacefully arrest a man accused of kidnapping and domestic violence.



Ultimately, officers said they were able to peacefully arrest Sangines and reported he had a loaded AR-15 rifle and a handgun in his vehicle.
