UFC 307 live results, updates – Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.: highlights, fight card, start time

Khalil Rountree Jr. faces a massive tough fight when he takes on reigning light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 307 on Saturday. To beat the odds, Rountree must find a way to succeed against arguably the most dangerous knockout artist in UFC history.

It took Pereira just four UFC fights to elevate himself to elite status with a knockout win over Israel Adesanya and capture the middleweight championship. After losing the belt in the rematch, Pereira moved up to light heavyweight, where he now has four wins over former world champions, one title win and two successful title defenses.

As the UFC looks to get Pereira back into the Octagon before the end of the calendar year, No. 8 contender Rountree has been getting calls for an opportunity beyond his standing in the division. A dangerous striker in his own right, Rountree brings a five-fight winning streak, four of which by knockout, into Saturday's title challenge.

CBS Sports will be with you all the way on Saturday, bringing you all the results and highlights from UFC 307 below. The main card begins at 10:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV, following the preliminary bouts at 8:00 a.m. ET.
