Israel Adesanya testifies for Alex Pereira's shamanic rituals over Joe Rogan days before UFC 307

Jiri Prochazka was not happy with the way he was knocked unconscious Alex Pereira at UFC 303. But before that encounter, he accused “Poatan” of using dark shamanic magic. To many it was a ridiculous statement, but the light heavyweight champion's nemesis, Israel AdesanyaHe seems to agree with the former 205-pounder and claims that it is indeed dark magic “real.”

“You know what Jiri said about the whole Juju thing? As if this were real. This is real,” Israel Adesanya told Joe Rogan on the youngest “JRE MMA Show”. He claimed to have observed a similar pattern between his last Glory fight in Brazil and his only UFC loss to Alex Pereira. “The last time I fought him in Miami, look… the guy beat me in the biggest arena in the world, Madison Square Garden, just like the last time he beat me in Brazil.”

Things were looking in Israel Adesanya's favor all along, but in both fights Alex Pereira somehow found the energy and opportunity to finish “Izzy” with a knockout. That, the former two-time 185-pound champion claims, is thanks to the spirits that support “Poatan.”

“I beat his ass, he got hurt at the end of the first round… and then he gets me in the last round. It's his spirit, whatever, like ancestors or his people praying for him… The way he behaves. Something about him is just, he knows how to recover well.” Israel Adesanya added. Would you agree with The Last Stylebender's statement that Alex Pereira uses black magic in his fights? But before responding, it is important to note Poatan's response to these claims.

What does Alex Pereira think about the claim that he uses shamanic magic?

Alex Pereira doesn't really care about those who question him about his mood. He claims that everyone has spirit within them and it is up to them whether they want to believe in it or not. Pereira is happy with the way his spirits have helped and guided him, and judging by his comments, he is not ready to let go of those spirits considering how much success he has had throughout his martial arts career.
