The fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol on Saturday, October 12, in Saudi Arabia is the focus of the boxing and MMA schedule for the second week of fighting in October 2024. Also on that day in Las Vegas and Bare the UFC Fight Night: Royval vs. Taira The Knuckle Fighting Championship takes place in Marbella, Spain.

A day earlier, the ninth edition of Most Valuable Prospects visits Puerto Rico on Friday, October 11th. Plus, Dana White's Contender Series Season 8: Week 9 kicks off MMA action on Tuesday, October 8 in Las Vegas. Concluding the fight weekend, four world titles are on the line on Sunday, October 13th, with Takuma Inoue vs. Seiya Tsutsumi topping the fight card in Tokyo, Japan.

Dana White's Contender Series Season 8: Week 9, also known as DWCS 75, airs live from UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Tuesday, October 8th. At the top of the fight card, France's Islem Masraf and Artem Vakhitov face off in the heavyweight division.

Among others, Chasen Blair from San Diego and Kody Steele from Port Angeles, Washington, are going head-to-head in the lightweight division. Mario Pinto, who was born in Portugal and lives in England, takes on Brazil's Lucas Camacho in the heavyweight division. Islam Dulatov of Germany and Vanilto Antunes of Brazil meet in the welterweight division. An all-Australian flyweight bout between Anthony Drilich and Sean Gauci opens the action.

MVP 9: Rivera vs. Beltran

Puerto Rican Jan Paul Rivera-Pizarro will face Las Vegas' Andy Beltran on the MVP 9 fight card on Friday, October 11 at the Coliseo Roger Mendoza in Caguas. The pair will fight for the WBC Latino regional title at super featherweight.

Also on the card: Krystal Rosado-Ortiz of Puerto Rico takes on Perla Lomeli of Mexico in a super bantamweight bout. Ridgewood, New York-based Puerto Rican middleweight Alexis Chaparro faces Steven Kirkwood of Norridgewock, Maine. Additionally, Elijah Flores of the Bronx, New York, takes on local Omar Rosario in a welterweight bout.

BKFC Spain: Tenaglia vs. Soto

The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship makes its debut in Spain on Saturday, October 12th with three title fights against BKFC Marbella. In the main event, Franco Tenaglia of Argentina and Tony Soto of Hickory, North Carolina fight for the BKFC lightweight belt.

In the co-main event, Austin Trout of El Paso, TX defends his welterweight title against Rico Franco of Great Britain. Additionally, David Mundell of Oldsmar, FL defends his middleweight title against Great Britain's Danny Christie.

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will fight for the undisputed title on Saturday, October 12th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The four-belt contest pits the unified WBC, WBO and IBF light heavyweight world champion against the WBA 175-pound titleholder.

Also on the card: Skye Nicolson of Australia defends her WBC featherweight title against British contender Raven Chapman. In another world title fight, Australia's two-time IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia defends his belt against Jack Massey of Great Britain.

Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron meet in an all-British light heavyweight bout. Additionally, Mohammed Alakel of Saudi Arabia makes his professional debut against Jesus Gonzalez of Colombia at lightweight.

Denver's former flyweight title challenger Brandon Royval will face No. 5 contender Tatsuro Taira of Japan in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday, October 12 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. In the co-main event, Korean Jun Yong Park and Brad Tavares from Hawaii will compete in the middleweight division.

Also on the card are Grant Dawson of Cambria, Wisconsin and Rafa Garcia of Brawley, California, competing in the lightweight division. Brazilian strawweight Julia Polastri faces Cory McKenna from Wales. Daniel Rodriguez of Alhambra, California faces Alex Morono of Houston in a welterweight bout. Abdul Razak Alhassan of Ghana and Josh Fremd of Pittsburgh meet in the middleweight division.

Takuma Inoue defends his WBA bantamweight title for the third time in an all-Japanese bout against Seiya Tsutsumi on Sunday, October 13, at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo. In the co-main event, former unified light flyweight world champion Kenshiro Teraji of Japan and former flyweight world champion Cristofer Rosales of Nicaragua battle for the vacant WBC 112-pound belt.

Also on the card, Japan's Seigo Yuri Akui defends his WBA flyweight title against Thananchai Charunphak of Thailand. Shokichi Iwata from Japan and Jairo Noriega from Spain will also fight for the vacant WBO light flyweight title.
