Push It Aside: Actor Bibin George Discusses Controversial Incident With Principal

Actor Bibin George has finally reacted to the recent incident where he was insulted by a school principal. The cast and crew of the latest film 'Gumasthan' were invited by students and authorities to present their magazine. However, when the actor began to address the audience after the magazine's release, the director came to the stage and asked him to leave, saying he was only invited to the unveiling. Bibin George expressed that he was hurt by the conduct of the college authorities.

Bibin mentioned that the cast and crew of 'Gumasthan' were on stage when the director asked him to leave. He added that although he was upset about the incident, he did not want to create problems for the university's principal. Furthermore, he is not interested in using this incident to promote the film Gumasthan. Bibin stated that the students spoke to the principal and resolved the misunderstanding.

“I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to explain myself. Whenever a controversy arises, we often feel the need to respond to it and people end up attacking not only the person involved but also their family. This causes divisions, with one group criticizing the other. We could have used this incident as a strategy to promote Gumasthan, but it really hurt me. However, we don't want to deal with it and cause problems for him. We'll just brush it aside as a minor incident.

Some things can't be corrected, but I think he may have thought about his actions. There is no reason to escalate the matter. We were actually hurt; We were all on stage and were sad when we left. However, when we talk about a person, his family and children are also affected. There is no point in targeting a single person and subjecting them to abuse and hatred. I think he may have realized his mistake. Many media outlets have contacted me about my response, but we don't want to take advantage of this controversy. That would only benefit us. I think the students talked to him and solved the misunderstanding. I have visited many colleges and this is the first time I have experienced something like this,” Bibin said.

Although Bibin George told the principal that they had been invited to the college, the principal insisted that they leave the stage. Meanwhile, the team speculated that the principal may have felt provoked when students started shouting the name of the film. They noticed that Bibin quickly left the stage without showing any displeasure, while some teachers and students supported the cast and crew and asked them not to leave the stage before the program was over. However, Bibin had no choice but to leave when the headmaster remained adamant.

The students asked Bibin not to leave even as he tried to leave in his vehicle. However, the actor felt unable to accommodate her request and explained that it was difficult for him to get back to the third floor where the show took place. The crew members added that Bibin left the college by bidding a friendly and warm farewell to the students.

Actor Jaise Jose noted that the director's attitude hurt them. Although the incident happened a week ago, the crew decided to keep quiet about it. Now, the video of the incident went viral on social media with many criticizing the college authorities.
