The coroner reported a fatal accident

One person has died after a two-car collision, according to the Anderson County coroner's office. They say it happened around noon Saturday on SC 24 at Wham Road. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2010 Volvo SUV was traveling westbound when it collided with a 2005 Toyota. The coroner says the SUV crossed the center line, causing it to hit the other car. The medical examiner has identified the driver of the SUV as 67-year-old Sandra B. Yates. They say no one in the other car was injured.

One person has died after a two-car collision, according to the Anderson County coroner's office.

They say it happened around noon Saturday on SC 24 at Wham Road.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2010 Volvo SUV was traveling westbound when it collided with a 2005 Toyota.

The coroner says the SUV crossed the center line, causing it to hit the other car.

The medical examiner has identified the driver of the SUV as 67-year-old Sandra B. Yates.

They say no one in the other car was injured.
