Cal football fans force Nick Saban to change red tie during GameDay

For the first time, ESPN's “College GameDay” will take place in Berkeley, Californiaand Cal football fans seize the opportunity.

Fans lined up early before 6 a.m. PT to witness the historic moment for the football program ahead of its game against No. 8 Miami at 10:30 p.m. ET, Cal's first-ever home game as a member of the ACC. In the first hour of the show, fans expressed their feelings about Nick Saban and his clothing.

Saban wore a red tie, and Golden Bears fans were having none of it, as the color was too close to the color of former Pac-12 rival and current ACC program Stanford. After he spoke, the angry mob effect seemed to take effect as Pat McAfee reminded Saban of the Cal fans' reaction to the tie.
