A murder investigation is underway in Byram. According to Byram police, officers responded to The Reserve of Byram Apartments on Byram Drive just before midnight Friday after receiving multiple shots fired in the area. When officers arrived, they found a lifeless man in his apartment who had been shot multiple times. Police identified that man as 26-year-old Gary Lennard Henderson of Jackson. Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect has not yet been identified.

A murder investigation is underway in Byram.

According to Byram police, officers responded to The Reserve of Byram Apartments on Byram Drive just before midnight Friday after receiving multiple shots fired in the area.

When officers arrived, they found a lifeless man in his apartment who had been shot multiple times. Police identified that man as 26-year-old Gary Lennard Henderson of Jackson.

Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
