Influencer Jack Doherty has an accident with his McLaren in a live stream

YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty crashed his $200,000 McLaren while live streaming on Kick.

In the video, Doherty can be seen driving with one hand on the steering wheel while fiddling with his phone. Due to the rain, the road surface was slippery and when he lost control, the supercar skidded across the road and crashed into the road barrier.

Doherty, who escaped unscathed, was rescued from the wrecked car. However, his friend in the passenger seat was injured and had to be taken to the hospital.

In response, Doherty's Kick account was suspended for violating security guidelines. According to media reports, 185,000 viewers were watching the stream when the accident occurred.

Doherty is said to have bought the McLaren 570S last year for $202,850. It was also fitted with a custom exhaust.
