Students' stunning 'Aigiri Nandini' performance goes viral

A video of students performing 'Aigiri Nandini' at their school campus has caught the attention of millions of people online during the Navratri festival. The students' energetic singing of the Mahishasura Mardini Stotra, a hymn dedicated to Goddess Durga, beautifully reflects the spirit of the festival.

The video, shared by Instagram handle @prince_eduhub, shows the students confidently chanting the Sanskrit Shloka, expressing their devotion. Her performance not only highlights her talent, but also embodies the festival's themes of unity and cultural pride.

According to the Instagram handle, the video is said to be from Prince Education Hub in Sikar, Rajasthan.

NDTV cannot confirm the authenticity of the video, but the video has received widespread praise on social media. In another viral moment, a video of a woman playing 'Aigiri Nandini' on the traditional Jal Tarang has also won the hearts of netizens. The Jal Tarang, a unique percussion instrument consisting of tuned bowls filled with water, is believed to have originated in 17th-century India. The name itself means “water waves,” reflecting the instrument’s ability to produce sounds reminiscent of flowing water.
