1 person dead, U-Südost road closed after accident | Spokane News

Update on Oct. 5th at 10:30 p.m. – The U-Southeast road has reopened and one person has died after a crash between a car and a semi-truck in rural Warden.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene after striking a semi-truck that was hauling onions. The family of the deceased driver has been notified and the driver of the semi-truck is uninjured.

Originally published October 5 at 8:20 p.m. – GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – One person is dead after a car and semi-truck collided in rural Warden.

According to a release from the Grant County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a fatal crash on 4-Southeast Road and U-Southeast Road around 8 p.m. The U-Southeast Road is closed and diversions have been put in place.
