Strictly speaking, fans are happy about the “correct result” as Week 3 elimination leaked | Television & Radio | Showbiz and television

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly fans express their relief, calling it the “right result” as the final two dancers and the unfortunate couple sent home were leaked ahead of Tonigt's show.

The popular BBC dance spectacular is going from strength to strength, with the celebrities and their professional partners delighting audiences with new performances every week.

This week's Film Week immersed participants in cinematic realms, paying tribute to The Little Mermaid, George of the Jungle, Barbie and Lara Croft.

A string of impressive results lit up the evening, with numerous couples securing 30 points or more, including Miranda's Sarah Hadland, singer Shayne Ward and humorist Chris McCausland, reports the Mirror.

However, it was former Love Island personality Tasha Ghouri who came out on top with a flawless 34 points for her soulful rumba to Billie Eilish's 'What Was I Made For?'

Seasoned Strictly viewers will be aware that while the results will be broadcast on BBC One the next evening, the show itself will be pre-filmed on Saturday.

And as expected, the results have been leaked online, which the Express is not revealing, showing the bottom two and the couple who left the show.

But revelations about the ousted couple ahead of Sunday's results show have apparently made viewers feel it was the right decision.

One fan expressed his relief on X, formerly known as Twitter, remarking: “So happy with this result, so glad they're gone.”

A second explained: “I would like to thank the British public for getting it right for once.”

Another fan chimed in: “Correct result and correct bottom two, one gone, now the other has to be taken out.”

Someone else said: “Absolutely the right result, even if they had no chance with that song choice, right?”

Still, some viewers had differing opinions on who should have been eliminated, with one X user commenting: “Two on the bottom right. In my opinion, the wrong person went home.”

Echoing this perspective, another added: “Personally, I would have preferred the other contestant to have been sent home, but they were definitely the right runners-up.”

Last week, Olympic swimmer Tom Dean and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova had their dreams dashed when they became the first couples of 2024 to be eliminated. Now all eyes are on who will compete next in the high-stakes dance competition.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight, Sunday October 6, at 7.15pm on BBC One.
