Two arrested, two in 'life-threatening' condition after drug deal turned into shooting

SAN ANTONIO – Two people are in life-threatening condition and two suspects are in custody after a drug deal turned into shooting.

Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, police responded to calls about a reported shooting at the Vogt Auction Galleries on the corner of Blanco Road and Lockhill Selma Road.

When police arrived at the scene, they found an adult male and a juvenile lying in the parking lot with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to University Hospital in “life-threatening” condition.

After a brief search of the entire area, two teenage suspects allegedly involved in the failed deal were taken into custody.

The initial investigation led police to believe that the three teenagers arrived at the auction house parking lot to meet with the adult male and complete the drug deal.

Police confiscated narcotics and firearms at the scene. No passers-by or customers in the store were injured. were injured
