Man charged with domestic violence in Holden incident

Holden police said 32-year-old Wilbur Corson was taken into custody by the Maine State Police response team after he refused to leave the residence.

HOLDEN, Maine – A Holden man has been charged with domestic violence following an incident early Saturday morning.

Just after 1:30 a.m., Holden police responded to a “family fight” at a home on Eastern Avenue, Holden police said on Facebook.

Police identified 32-year-old Wilbur Corson of Holden as the suspect in the incident. After Corson refused to leave the home, a search warrant was executed, according to police.

Corson was taken into custody without incident by the Maine State Police tactical team and charged with aggravated domestic violence, police said. He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.

The Brewer Police Department and the Maine State Police Tactical Team assisted with the incident.
