49ers vs. Cardinals 1st quarter thread: No outlook for Thursday

Temperatures are hot for the divisional game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals.

Dee Winters will start at SAM linebacker, but I wouldn't expect him to play in many three-linebacker sets given how often the Cardinals use 11 players.

LB Jalen Graham: 50

WR Trent Taylor: 81

DT Kalia Davis: 93

DT TY McGill: 96

The 49ers have plenty of mismatches on both sides of the ball that should lead to a comfortable win. But if you let bad teams hang around, that's what happens in Week 3. Hopefully the 49ers have learned their lesson and don't fall victim to a 3 percent win probability like they did against the Los Angeles Rams.

How Kyle Shanahan splits reps at running back and how often Deebo Samuel runs the ball is another thing to keep an eye on during a quick turnaround. That and whether the defense can get stops so the line doesn't tire out.
