Apple is reportedly preparing for the next wave of product releases, with November 1st being the target date Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his Sunday Turn on newsletter.

With the September launch of the iPhone 16 behind us, Apple is shifting its focus to new iPads, Macs and an iPhone SE update.

Gurman reports that Apple plans to announce several products by the end of October and release some of them on Friday, November 1, including:

  • Low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip (codename J604)
  • High-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M4 chips (J614 and J616)
  • Redesigned Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chip configurations (J773)
  • Updated iMac with M4 chip (J623)
  • Updated iPad mini (J410)

This is quite a product update that we are preparing in October ahead of the busy Christmas shopping.

As for the new Apple products launching in the first half of 2025? Gurman explained the following:

  • 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M4 (J613 and J615)
  • Redesigned iPhone SE (V59)
  • Updated 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models (J607 and J637)
  • New Magic Keyboards for the updated iPad Air series (R307 and R308)
  • Improved AirTag (B589)

According to Gurman, new versions of the Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M4 chips are also in development, with the Mac Studio expected in mid-2025 and the Mac Pro in the second half of the year. Apple is currently working hard to ensure its existing Macs are more than ready for Apple Intelligence (only M1 is required), which will be available in a few weeks.

As for next year's fall 2025 launches? Apple is expected to release the iPhone 17 as expected, as well as new Apple Watches and Macs with the next M5 chip, Gurman says.
