Help us build capacity through training, education and mentorship by funding and supporting Indigenous led programs.
Recreation for Reconciliation mission is to ensure that organizations are equipped, trained and honor the Truth of our collective history, and , that that they are able to assume the responsibility of providing programs for Indigenous Community.
Recreation for Reconciliation understands the needs of Indigenous communities are unique to each community. Knowing the differences makes all the difference.
Recreation for Reconciliation believes that Indigenous communities and Indigenous Led organizations should be direct recipients of financial resources and funding.
Indigenous people need to learn how to access funds and work the system the way colonialism has set it up, to ensure that there is equality in funding.
Recreation for Reconciliation wants to ensure that Indigenous people have a voice in what a settler organization views as a route for reconciliation, if an organization is not bringing Indigenous voices to the table then how are they using funds to move forward in reconciliation?
Recreation for Reconciliation is seeking partners to provide financial support, so we can create events which empower, educate and build a bridge starting from TRUTH so we can move forward through reconciliation.
Our programs are to benefit ALL people who live in our region
