Luvcat releases music video for sinister new single “He's My Man”

Luvcat has released the music video for her dark new single “He's My Man” – check it out below.

After snippets of the song went viral on TikTok, the Liverpool musician has finally released her second single, “He's My Man,” with an equally disturbing music video for the song.

The visuals are inspired by Tim Burton films, e.g Edward Scissorhands along with other gothic classics like The Addams Family. The video's skeletal co-star, meanwhile, was inspired by a family story told to Luvcat: “My dad and his friends sneaked into an old house and found the old lady who lived there pulling a string on a rocking chair was attached, on which she sat husband sat back and forth. However, he had died six months earlier. She just couldn’t bear to be separated from him.”

Luvcat took to the stage in May with her first single “Matador” and has since sold out headlining shows at London's Paper Dress Vintage and Liverpool's Kazimeer Garden.

She also performed at All Points East in Victoria Park this year, where she was part of the back-to-back headlining set of Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service on August 25th.
