Motorcyclist died in a crash on Highway 50 in Pueblo Tuesday evening

PUEBLO – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday evening, according to Pueblo police.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 50 and Wills Boulevard around 8:30 p.m.

Police say they are still investigating how the accident occurred, but said the motorcyclist and another vehicle were involved.

According to police, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. They will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner at a later date. It is unclear at this time whether anyone in the vehicle was injured.

As of this writing, two westbound lanes of Highway 50 are closed. It is unclear when they will reopen.
