Not true! Angry Dana White claims UFC can compete with Francis Ngannou's 'life-changing' fights and $30 million boxing wages

Francis Ngannou will make his highly anticipated return to mixed martial arts (MMA) later this month (October 19, 2024) against the Brazilian giant. Renan FerreiraHeadlining PFL Super Fights: “Battle of the Giants,” which will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion will take a break from boxing after being eliminated Anthony Joshua Earlier this year (see highlights).

UFC CEO, Dana Whitewas asked about his former heavyweight champion's foray into professional boxing and the huge “life-changing” multimillion payments he earned, comparing it to if he had stayed with the UFC.

“That’s not necessarily true,” White said Kevin Iole. “That’s not really true. These are the cops the public believes in, but that's not the truth. Total bullshit. Accordingly ForbesNgannou pocketed $10 million for his controversial fight with him Tyson Fury already in October 2023 and just a few months ago a prize money of 20 million US dollars for Joshua.

White has said publicly that Ngannou would have been the highest-paid heavyweight of all time if he had stayed in the UFC. “The Predator” revealed that he earned $600,000 for his last UFC fight.
