Three from Aberdeen arrested after SP shooting

Three more people have been arrested following a shooting in Southern Pines Sunday afternoon. Just before 4:30 p.m., a teenager was shot at the Brookside Park Apartments

“Upon arrival, patrol members were informed that several male subjects had been shooting at each other, but they were left in a silver or gray Chrysler 300 prior to the officer's arrival,” the Southern Pines Police Department said in a statement to the Sandhills Sentinel with Monday morning. “On scene, the department was advised that a seventeen (17) year old victim had been transported to First Health via a private vehicle. The victim, who suffered a non-life-threatening injury, was treated and released from the hospital.”

Southern Pines police made the announcement on Wednesday Kreysean Darby, 19, Jaylyn Darby, 18, and Tymier Hogan, 18, all of Aberdeen, was arrested on charges of aAssault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury, armed action to scare the public and discharging a firearm in urban areas.

Arrest warrants were issued Monday for 19-year-old Marlon Harris of Aberdeen on charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, arming oneself to terrorize the public and discharging a firearm within the city limits. He was arrested a short time later.
